Triton

Triton is a greek god, the messenger of the deep. His father is Poseidon, god of the sea, and his mother is Amphitrite, goddess of the sea.Triton is represented as a merman,having the body of a human and the tail of a fish. Triton’s special accessory was a twisted conch shell on which he blew to calm or raise the waves.

This is magnificent handcrafted seashell mosaic art. It took several months placing each unique seashell on to this heavy old and
unusual wood base with antic frame. Each seashell has been lovingly attached one by one. Wood base covered with each seashell fitting in properly. This a truly a superior piece of art by 40″x 23.5″ inches. At least 18 different types of shells are utilized in the design.
