My artworks for Philadelphia seashell show 2012

Category 80. “Life is dance”, Seashell arrangement in a flat case, 17.5” x 28.5”. This my work received Green Ribbon Honorable Mention Award on the show.

In this arrengement were used : Melissas seashell, Yellow Littorina shells, white nerites shells and Blue Mussel shells.)

Category 85. Contemporary Single Sailor’s Valentine, 6”. This miniature octagonal mosaic received Red Ribbon, Second Place Award on the show.

“75-th Shellabration in Sanibel”, Year of the Dragon congratulate the dolphin (Sanibel).

Category 86. Contemporary Single Sailor’s Valentine, 17”,“King’s Neptune greetings for 75 Sanibel Anniversary”.

Category 97. Shell realistic mosaic, “Flamenco”, 17.5” x 21.5”. Mosaic was made from sea shells with natural colors and tiny ocean stones and pebbles. This art work received Green Ribbon Honorable Mention Award on the show.

Category 98. Shell craft flower three-dimentional arrengement. Sunflowers with metal shell decorated vase, 15” x 29”. This art work received Red Ribbon Secod Place Award on the show.


Category 102. Seasonal ornaments, 30” x 50”. Halloween Tree with individual shell decorated ornaments. Ornaments made and decorated from driftwood, sea stars, sea glass, shells and their fragments, nautical life). This seasonal decoration received Blue Ribbon, First Place Award on the show.

Category 103. Sesonal Decor, “Blue Christmas”, heart shape wreaths, item made and decorated with shells, 18” x 21”. This wreaths can be use like a huge and unique Christmas frame with any special picture.

Category 106. Shell Novelty, figure, 8” x 21”.“Pirate”, figure made from several pieces of driftwood; hat and coat were sewn and decorated with shells and their fragments. All the shells have their own natural colors. This figurine received Blue Ribbon, First Place Award on the show.

Category 112. Shell sculpture. No real shells were used. 12” x 10”. Ceramic Polymita Picta land snail’s sculpture, was colored and decorated with Swarovski crystals. In this item were used 2.000 red and 3.000 black tiny crystals. This sculpture received Red Ribbon, Second Place Award on the show.


Category 114. Decorative shell item. 8” x 15”.

Nautical seashell decorated melting wall clock “ Melting rhyme in melting time…”

This surrealistic clock express dynamic Tango dance and brings a special feeling of motion…You almost can hear a sound of unforgettable music. Beautiful romantic couple is in the center of our attention. Everything melt around true love.

Mosaic made from small, tiny seashells with their own natural unique colors except coral red dye lilac seashells. From these smallest in size shells was made a red elegant lady’s dress.

An exotic baby blue mussel shells with 6,5-10mm in sizes, were used for decorating gentleman’s suit and even his shoe. Also in this work was used a fragments of Mother of Pearl Abalone.

This decorative clock received Blue Ribbon, First Place Award on the show.

Category 117. Miscellaneous. 16” x 9.5”.

“ Life has two faces”, wood and sea urchin legs on the cork, fantasy.

Life is simple, its just not easy…

“You will eat or you can eaten

If you are goldfish or a kitten…”

This item includes the three fish, one made into the inside another one. Two fish the bigger in size were made out from wood, the smaller fish made from Orange Jingle seashells, Mussel shells with natural blue color, oyster shells and moon snail shells. These shells were collected in Sanibel from the last year. Also each wood fish has a special natural cork covering on the bottom with sea urchin spines inside it. Spines in my work mean all the problems in our life. This art work received Yellow Ribbon, Third Place Award on the show.
